Cars in German City Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Police mentioned they were contacted by a individual who found a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored fluid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and postboxes were vandalized, in some cases with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Law enforcement say they were alerted late on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued substance.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they stated.

Officers then found many other marked vehicles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials report early analysis indicate the fluid was likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; officials are presently not informed of any injuries in relation with the incident," they stated.

City officials stated they were trying "to resolve the case" and have asked to the community for details.

A high-ranking official stated the incident made him stunned and had to be addressed promptly.

"This event strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing violent incident five years ago," he posted on online, mentioning the killing of nine individuals by a shooter focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in February 2020.
